Why is it that when you think one thing- it really turns out completely different.. I have a best friend who I am in love with… But Ive never known his feelings- he’s a guy, of course he wouldnt tell me… I have put myself out there for him… But i always got shut down… Me thinking that I wasnt up to his standards.
So of course., i dated other guys..
To find out that he did have feelings for me (well, does have)…
I havent loved in years. I completely trust him and cant imagine my life without him… How do I show that? Will he even let me? Or am I too late…

Just got the “your body is sacred” speecg again from mom… Smh… But she made a really good point- that I need to aim higher and have greater expectations when meeting a guy.
Im so done with guys painting me a pretty picture- but i. The end- its nothing but a blur.
I deserve greatness because I am great. Plain and simple. Done with settling and falling for a pretty picture.
